Jeffrey Brenner, MD; Executive Director, Camden Coalition of Healthcare Providers

Dr. Brenner runs a solo-practice, urban family medicine office offering full-spectrum family health services to a largely Hispanic, Medicaid population including delivering babies, caring for children and adults, and doing home visits in Camden, NJ. Recognizing the need for a new way for hospitals, providers, and community residents to collaborate, he founded and is Executive Director of the Camden Coalition where local stakeholders are building an integrated, health delivery model to provide better care for city residents. In 2013 he received a MacArthur award. Dr. Brenner, is also Medical Director of the Urban Health Institute at Cooper Health System, improving care of the underserved by using modern business techniques to redesign long-standing clinical care models to deliver better care at lower cost.
