Ariel Linden, DrPH, President, Linden Consulting Group
Dr. Linden completed a doctorate Health Services Research at UCLA in 1997, focusing on measuring and evaluating large-scale and population-based interventions. He has published over 80 peer-reviewed papers, book chapters, letters to the editor, and scientific abstracts. In 2003 he was commissioned to write a position paper for the disease management industry’s trade organization—the Disease Management Association of America (DMAA). In 2006, he won the DMAA's prestigious award for "Outstanding Journal Article." In 2008, he was named "Leader in Disease Management" by Managed Healthcare Executive. Dr. Linden is adjunct professor at the University of Michigan's, Department of Health Management and Policy. Prior, he held a joint faculty appointment at Oregon Health and Science University's School of Medicine and School of Nursing. He has been a Visiting Professor in four countries. He is Associate Editor of the Journal of Evaluation in Clinical Practice (JECP) and serves on the editorial board of six other medical journals.
