Kathy McManus is Director of the Department of Nutrition at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Director of Nutrition Services at Dana Farber Cancer Institute. She also serves as the Director of Nutrition and Behavior Modification Programs for the Program for Weight Management at the Brigham and was Co-Investigator on an NIH funded obesity study, POUNDS (Preventing Obesity Using Novel Dietary Strategies) Lost. Ms. McManus has numerous publications and book chapters and co-authored a New England Journal of Medicine article on the Pounds Lost Study. She is a faculty member of the Healthy Kitchen’s Healthy Lives program conducted by Harvard Medical School and the Culinary Institute of America.  This program has trained over 2500 physicians on current science of nutrition combined with a culinary experience.
