Kristin S. Vickers Douglas, PhD, ABPP, is an Associate Professor of Psychology with specialty board certification in clinical health psychology at Mayo Clinic. Her clinical practice is located in the primary care setting, emphasizing integrated behavioral health.
For the last 10 years she has directed the Mayo Clinic Patient Education Research Program, where she collaborates in quantitative and qualitative evaluation of patient experience with novel education and behavior change interventions. She is the medical director of the Mayo Clinic Health Coaching program and program director for the Mayo Clinic Medical Psychology Fellowship Program. The overarching goal of her research, clinical, and educational roles is to advance the science and practice of health behavior change interventions by assessing and responding to patient values and preferences.
