Since 2004, Kriss Haren has developed and delivered evidence-based communication skills training for physicians, nurses and allied health professionals. She brings over 25 years of experience in outpatient and inpatient behavioral health settings. She holds graduate degrees in public administration and counseling. She is a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT), and has achieved certification as a Registered Health Coach (RHC-III) Expert and listing in the National Registry of Health Coaches (www.HealthCoachRegistry.org). She is an adjunct professor at the University of Dayton. Since 2009, Kriss has prepared more than 3,400 individuals in the use of Motivational Interviewing in health care. She serves as the behavioral health specialist for the National Disaster Medical Team.
